    Renaissance artists Masaccio and Giotto were both well known for their transformative art, this included the realism movement. This new style saw paintings being displayed in their natural state which occured during periods of observation, rather than by a strictly mathematical makeup. This style of art was not yet widely-popular, however, it would continue to influence the Reniassance and later painters.
