There are a total of 7 possible vocal ranges.

Females have a total of 3:

Soprano - Highest Female Range Mezzo-Soprano Contralto - Lowest Female Range

Where as Males have a total of 4:

Countertenor - Highest Male Range Tenor Baritone Bass - Lowest Male Range

These are arranged in the highest to lowest.
