    2. Valentiner was born in Germany and was an art critic. He was an expert and great collector on Rembrandt art. When he was the director at North Carolina Museum of Art, he collected Rembrandt paintings and found out that some of these pieces were not done by Rembrandt but other artists which led to controversy.

    3. Jon Syedl believes that the traditional way of hanging artworks coupled with interactive programming gives visitors with a fresh new look at Old Masters which will bring about a rejuvenated gallery environment that can be used as a laboratory, sanctuary, classroom and a community space.
