    Ziggurat at Ur-Nammu is Neo - Sumerian ziggurat, which structure was built in 21st century BCE. It was built in honor of Moon god of Nanna, the patron deity of Ur. The Sumerian worshiped a hierarchy of nature gods. The core of ziggurat is made of mud brick and it is faced with colored glazed bricks. Ziggurat embodied the idea of the " sacred mountain ".
