    NATO is also called the North Atlantic Alliance, it is the military alliance it was military alliance between European and 29 North American countries. It main purpose was to defend each other form the Soviet Union Taking control of their countries. NATO's headquarter is located in Brussels. NATO wasn't involved in any military operations during cold war. After the end of cold war its first operations were Anchor Guard (1990) and Ace Guard (1991), they were caused by the invasion o Kuwait by Iraq.
