The Olmec civilization left behind artistic figurines of various kinds.

    1. Figurines which portray baby faces and chubby bodies - some of these baby-faced figurines wear a helmet and most of them are naked. Even so, their genitals are not represented.

    2. The extended stiff figurine - these figurines show a stiff figure of a person, with a non-natural position of the arms and legs. Their bodies are elongated, and their mouth making a sad face.

    3. Human-animal combination - many figurines of the Olmec civilization portray a mixture of human and animal body parts. It is if a person is being transformed into an animal or vice versa.
