What are the similarities and differences in acting for film and theater productions?

    Similarities: both have actor's and actresses, both stems from a made up script (can be real life though), both uses theme like drama and romance

    Differences: film is set over a period of time while stage is a one time show, film is filmed in different locations and settings to make one movie, while theater is acted on one stage during one setting.
