Designers often use art as their main inspiration and they look for the inspiration by digging into old wardrobes and fashion, to redesign clothes into new playful form. Trends are the most visible phenomenon in fashion, primarily because they change almost month by month. Examples are 50's and dots, 70's and wide trousers and long dresses, hippy style of 60's, 90's fluorescent colors ... Designers are not blindly following fashion trends from previous era, they are rather using slightly forgotten fashion ideas that we will gladly return to.
