Music has become a little bit too commercial, a lot of rappers are only doing to get out of the streets and "flex" all of the money they made on one single. While other artists use music as their voice for reason. To express themselves in a more creative way.

I do not think that music has become too commercial because now there are so many new songs coming out and artists can get their songs out there easier. I do think that some create music for the money but that some still do it for other reasons. For the artists that write the songs they perform, they usually have a reason such as a message they want to get across or they are writing it for something/someone they love such as when Steven Tyler wrote his hit song "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" he was writing it for his daughter. And when Eminem wrote "Like Toy Soldiers" he wrote it for the then recently deceased Tupac and another rap artist that Eminem was friends with.
