How do institutions like religion and politics play a role in creating or maintaining beliefs and preconceived notions

    In some parts of the world, there are what you call "forbidden art" these are art works which are tagged as too radical by these specific countries so much that arts like those are prohibited there. What are those types of arts then? A woman speaking in public, a public figure listening to a child - - these type of art works seem normal and innocent to us but for some countries which the light of the sun never hits, these art works are like propaganda. In regards to religion, artworks which are tagged provocative by the church or its counterparts are highly criticized. For example: the Catholic church criticize any occultic art which suggests the use of black magic.
