The seafaring people renowned for their glassware were the Phoenicians.
Phoenicians were people who belong to the Semitic group living near the Mediterranean in the 1300s BC. They were quite famous for their art and trade, which revolved mostly around glass, which they had in abundance and created many items out of it.
