The first sentence is written correctly. The purpose of a colon is to introduce a list and should only be used after a complete sentence. In the examples, "Hannah Teter has won medals in several Olympic games" could be its own sentence, and the list begins with "2003 Aspen." Thus the only place the colon can go is after games and before 2003. In the other examples, the colon either does not come after the initial expression of the idea or it breaks up the list.
