In The Great Gatsby, Nick watches that Daisy did not appreciate the party aside from the brief timeframe she had gone through alone with Gatsby. Generally, Daisy was annoyed by the party. In Nick's words, "It wasn't a motion yet a feeling." Daisy's response to Gatsby's party went to West Egg. Likewise, she bombastically dismiss West Egg for the reason that it does not have the triviality of the social traditions with which she has dependably lived.
