Use analogies: Why is comparing cellular respiration to a burning fire a poor analogy?

    It is a poor analogy because although they are both are exergonic reactions, cellular respiration involves breaking down glucose to make energy in the form of ATP. Whereas a burning fire is just a release of energy.
