The dependent variable is the aggression.

The independent variable is sleep time

The controlled condition is group of people sleeping for 3 hours or 6 hours

The experimental groups are the people sleeping as much as they want.

    Explanation:

Any of the scientific experiment involves few criteria on which whole study is based. The independent variable in the experiment can be defined as the variable that can be changed by the experimenter.

The dependent variable can be defined as the factor which is dependent on the independent variable. It is actually the result of the experiment.

The controlled group or factors are kept constant in order to compare it with the experimental group which is not being controlled by the experimenter.
