They need to have mitochondria. Muscle cells have high energy requierments.

The organelle needs to be able to have energy to function. They will resist the force of gravity, pump the blood around in your body, and move substances through the vital hollow organs to produce strong movements. Therefore, the organelle that muscle cells would need to have is called the mitochondria or the mitrochondrion.
