If you commit a crime under duress, what does this mean? You were forced to commit the crime. You were sick at the time of the crime. You were a fugitive at the time of the crime. You didn't understand that you were committing a crime.

    Being under duress at the in the commission/involuntary can be considered as a hostage but only if do did not want it to happen.
