Hi what does mean stereotype in ur opinion?

A stereotype is a mistaken idea or belief many people have about a thing or group that is based upon how they look on the outside, which may be untrue or only partly true.

To me a stereotype is when someone wants me to be something they want me to be, like "why don't you look skinny" Cause girls are supposed to have a small waist with a big butt, but why should be its not what we wanna look like, we should be able to be whoever we wanna be.
