What is the medical term for eye discomfort arising from use of the eyes that may consist of eye strain, headache, and/or brow ache? the condition may be related to uncorrected refractive error or poor fusional amplitudes?

    This condition appears when concentrating on a visually intense task, like focusing on a book or computer monitor, the ciliary muscle tightens. As a result, the eyes to get irritated and uncomfortable. The problem can be alleviated by giving the eyes a chance to focus on a distant object at least once an hour.
