    Somesthetic Senses

    There are three somesthetic senses, the skin, kinesthetic and vestibular senses. The skin is the organ that serves as protection against water loss and infectin. It transmits information like touch, pressure and temperature as it is collected by sensory receptors.

    kinesthetic sense - these tells about how our body is positioned or proprioception. This transmit information based on the joint movement and how muscles are relaxed or contracted.

    Vestibular Sense - the sense of balance. The main organs are the otolith and the semicircular canals in the ear.
