Cardiac activity is influenced by both parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system.

    Explanation:

The autonomic nervous system consists of three branches-sympathetic, parasympathetic and enteric nervous system. Sympathetic nervous system increases the heart rate whereas parasympathetic nervous system decreases the heart rate. So, the parasympathetic innervation comes from cardio-inhibitory center of the brain and sympathetic innervation comes from cardio-acceleratory center of the brain.

    So, the answer is false.
