    Answer: Molecules needed in cellular respiration are glucose and oxygen. The molecules produced are carbon dioxide, water and ATP.

    Explanation: Cellular respiration is a process by which glucose from the food we eat is completely broken down in the presence of oxygen to produce energy in form of ATP needed for other body functions, with the release of carbon dioxide and water as by-products.

    The equation for respiration is C6H12O6 + 6O2 - -> 6 CO2 + 6 H2O + ATP (energy).
