How does mitosis and meiosis differ in the division of genetic composition

    Mitosis produces two genetically identical daughter cells but meiosis produces four genetically different daughter cells.

    Mitosis is the division of body cells, while meiosis is the division of sex cells. at the end of the division process, mitosis is left with 2 daughter cells, while meiosis is left with 4 daughter cells.
