What would the hypothalamus do in the wake of a perceived threat such as a bee hovering around your face?

    The hypothalamus is a brain's structure that controls, among many human body functions, the hormones of aggressivity. There are neurons that are only excited during mating, and that there are neurons that are activated during hazards, where aggressive behaviors are needed. There are neurons that activate during the two very different behaviors. In those cases, the cerebral amygdala is the one who sends the necessary information to the hypothalamus to define, if there is a danger or is mating, and thus release the correct hormones to be in accordance with the situation in which the person is. In this case, hormones that alert and prepare to fight or flee the person who has the bee near your face will be released.
