How does cytokinesis differ in plant and animal cells?

    Animal cells look like a Cleavage Furrow and Plant cells look like a Cell Plate.

    Differences between plant and animal cell cytokinesis:

    (Knowing that cytokinesis is equal division of the cytoplasm).

    *Cytokinesis in the plant cell is centripetal, that is, it occurs from the inside out. * Cytokinesis in the animal cell is centrifuged, that is, occurs from the middle to the outside.
