    Explanation:

    The peppered moth, which is the dark colored moth came to exist as an adaptation on evolution because of the industrial revolution and the increase in polution due to the fabrics, this made it easier for the moths to hide from brids, which prior to this had to hunt white colored moths often against sunlight which made it really hard, so the dark colored were the ones that kept surviving.
