A few months ago, there was a wildfire in a forest. Only a few plants and animals survived the fire. Currently, many trees that existed before the fire have started growing again. What type of succession has occurred in this forest?

    Secondary succession is one of the two types of ecological succession of plant life. As opposed to the first, primary succession, secondary succession is a process started by an event (e. g. forest fire, harvesting, hurricane, etc.)
