    Starch is made up of a mixture of amylopectin and amylose and is the stored form of sugar in plants. Monosaccharides are simple sugars whereas cellulose and starch are not. Cellulose and starch contain many sugars and are polysaccharides. Also, lipids are not carbohydrates.
