    Explanation:

    Bioconcentration occurs at higher trophic levels because most often organisms at higher trophic levels are bigger and will consume several organisms of lower trophic level over their lifetime. Therefore the higher the trophic levels the more bioaccumulants will bioaccumulate in the organisms.
