    During winter time, your body will tend to reduce heat loss by constriction of the superficial blood vessels and reducing blood flow to the surface of the skin. This causes the blood pressure to rise, because the same volume of blood is flowing through less space in the body blood vessels. In response, the kidneys will excrete excess fluid to reduce the blood pressure thus making one urinate more frequently.
