    Hydrostatic pressure

    Explanation:

    Hydrostatic pressure results from pressure generated by fluids on the capillary walls. It is responsible for movement of water / fluid out of the capillaries while the osmotic pressure holds the fluid in blood vessels. The systolic contraction of heart chambers is responsible for hydrostatic pressure.

    Since hydrostatic pressure is stronger at the arterial ends of capillaries, water and small solutes move out of the vessels into the surrounding interstitial fluid.
