A certain population of lizards has a very small gene pool with little variation how does this affect the chance that individuals of the population will survive changes in the environment?

    Having little gene variation will make it harder to have the ability to adapt to your environment. If they are only made to live in the desert and eat bugs, they will not survive in someplace cold.
