    The use of wells to obtain drinking water is not a modern convenience. It might have been a convenience in the past, but with our technological advancements, the use of wells aren't that popular anymore. It is not disregarded though that the usage of wells aren't dropping to a stop since they are still utilized by people usually living in the rural areas. As for the convenience part, well it isn't as convenient as it seems since establishing the well itself would take so much work.
