Why are mosses limited to such a small size?

A. They are nonvascular and wouldn't be able to transport water throughout a larger plant.

B. They are heterotrophic and must stay near the ground, where their food sources are.

D. They usually grow in very frigid areas, and the extreme cold hampers their growth.
