True or false: bone loss during amenorrhea which results as part of the female athlete triad is not as extreme as that which occurs during natural menopause, and typically does not result in further consequences.

    The answer is False. Disordered eating, amenorrhea (loss of a girl's period), and osteoporosis (a weakening of the bones) is the three combination that the female athlete have. Frequently than people who aren't athletes. But for some girls, not balancing the needs of their bodies and their sports can have major consequences. Because Osteoporosis is a weakening of the bones.
