If the portion of dna to be transcribed has 66 bases how many amino acids will the resulting protein have

    If there are 66 bases, there will end up being 22 amino acids in the resulting protein. For every 3 bases, there is one amino acid. This means that 1/3 of 66 equals out to 22 amino acids.
