The answer is False. Spermicidal or Spermicides are chemicals that is used to kill sperm inside the vagina. Spermicides may be found in different forms, such as jelly, foam, suppository and film. Some spermicides works alone, while others require insertion or pre-insertion. Spermicides are used in combination with other methods such as the use of condoms. Though individuals claim to use spermicides alone, they are only 76 percent effective, sometimes pregnancy may still occur. Which is why it is advised to use other protective materials, such as condoms.
