Frogs produce a great deal of gametes, why? which survivorship curve would represent frogs?

    Frogs are at the bottom of the food chain; they need a lot of offspring in order to offset how many are being eaten everyday. Basically, gametes are sex cells ... So to increase the chances of fertilization frog produce large no. Of gametes and basically sprays them over eggs released by female.
