Answer is C) ovules and seeds.

The female cone contains ovules, prior to fertilization, and seeds, after being fertilized by pollen. A single cone can have many ovules, similar to eggs in mammal reproduction, a few of which become seeds when fertilized by pollen. To continue the analogy, pollen is like the sperm of a male mammal (produced by male cones) and the seed is like the embryo (fertilized egg held by the female).

Remember that, just like us, the female contains the ovules (eggs) and the seeds (embryo). The male has the sperm (pollen)
