Parkinson's disease is a neurological degenerative disease in which dopamine producing neurotransmitters in brain start to die. Loss of around 80% dopamine leads to Parkinson's symptoms like balance and movement problems.

Pramipexole is a non-ergot dopamine agonist drug. It alone can be used to eliminate many symptoms like tremors, slow movement and rigidity. It can be used along with levodopa for better effects.
