    Make sure the variable is to the left of the equation and make sure it is simplified. Less than or equal to represents a closed circle with an arrow above it going to the left. Greater than or equal to is a closed circle with an arrow going to the right. Greater than is an open circle with an arrow going to the right and the opposite for less than.
