True or false: catabolic and anabolic reactions in living cells involve the transfer of electrons from one molecule to another in reduction-oxidation reactions.

    The correct answer is true. catabolic and anabolic reactions do in fact involve electron trasnsfer using reduction-oxidation reactions. For example, ATP donates one of it's phosphate groups to a coupled reaction thus forming ADP in a reduction reaction. It can then gain that phosphate group back utilizing an oxidation reaction.
