    The part of the limbic system that regulates hunger is the hypothalamus.

    Explanation; Limbic system is part of the forebrain, which is a group of specialized structures, that performs various functions, including memory, planning and emotions among others, thus allowing humans to associate the physiological states and psychological states to the outside environment with appropriate responses. Hypothalamus is the primary output of the limbic system. It controls the release of various hormones and contributes to regulation of temeperature among other functions. Hypothalamus is also the part of the limbic system that regulates hunger.
