Humans are more evolved than reptiles because large number of species in human population shows that they have adapted to their environment in best ways while reptiles have diversified very slowly.

Explanation:

The large number of species in the human population indicates that they have adapted and diversified well to their environment. Human have the most organized and complex level of brain.

Reptiles as crocodiles and alligators have evolved some 250 million years ago and have diversified into only 23 species. They are diversifying a 1,000 times slower than the scientists expected.
