If 27% of the bases in a certain segment of DNA were adenine, what would be the percentage of (Hints: Which base will have the same percentage as adenine? All four should add up to 100%):

    A) - 27% because adenine and thymine always pair together so they will be equal to each other

    b) and c) each will have 23% because cytosine and guanine always pair so they will be equal to each other

    23% cytosine + 23% guanine + 27% Thymine + 27% adenine = 100%
