Since amplitude has to do with height. If you increase the amplitude, then the boat will rise up higher.

    The answer is; D

The boat acts a particle in the wave hence moves with the waves. Since it sits at surface of the crest or trough of the wave, it rises as high as the crest of the wave amplitude and falls as low as the surface of the trough. The boat moves in a wave-like motion as it is undulates with the crest and trough.
