The prefix exo - means out of and the prefix endo - means taking in. How do these meanings relate to the meaning of exocytosis and endocytosis?

    Exocytosis (out of) is the process by which a cell directs the vessicles out of the cell membrane. Endocyclosis. Endocytosis (take in) is the process by which cells take in molecules.
