    The two types of anaerobic energy systems are - high energy phosphates, adenosine triphosphate and creatine phosphate; and - anaerobic glycolysis. The former is called alactic anaerobic and the latter lactic anaerobic system. Highenergy phosphates are stored in limited quantities within muscle cells.
