    B. Shape

Explanation - When salt is dissolved in water or food then its physical properties changes keeping its chemical nature same. When salt is added to food then its shape changes. From its solid state, it comes to a dissolved state thereby enhancing the flavor of the food and diminishing other flavors.

Salt when added to the food, reduces the water activity of the food thereby allowing the food to last longer. Salt also draws water from the food making it more concentrated.

Answer: Option (b) is the correct answer.

    Explanation:

A property that does not bring any change in chemical composition of a substance are known as physical properties.

For example, change in shape, size, mass, volume, density, etc are all physical properties.

So, when Kenya added a pile of salt into the meal then the salt changes into amorphous state. But before, adding the salt into the meal it was present in crystalline state.

Thus, we can conclude that out of the given options shape is the physical property of salt which changes.
