The musculoskeletal system provides a framework to the body. It provides the support and maintains the stability in the body. The musculoskeletal system is composed of bones, muscles, cartilage, joints, tendons and ligaments and other kind of connective tissues that support and binds the tissues and organs together.

A strong musculoskeletal system includes three long term health benefits:

    1. Reduce the risk of injury: The strong bones and muscles will prevent any internal injuries as they make up a strong framework against external force and internal muscular stress.

    2. Decrease the risk of osteoporosis: The osteoporosis is condition in which pores develop on the bones as a result of which the bone becomes brittle and fragile. If the skeletal system is strong then risk of osteoporosis will also decrease.

    3. Improve posture: A strong musculoskeletal will keep the vertebral column upright not in bended state.
